- My brother came to Taiwan for a visit
I’ll get back to this post to clean it up a little eventually, but I want to get some photos and video up before waiting too long. I still have so much detailing, tagging, and organizing to do with all of the photos and videos that were taken during my brother’s stay here. At any rate, if you want to check out the complete collection of footage from the trip, check out the related page in the galleries section. At the time of posting this, it may not be up yet, or may be incomplete.
Okay, first update: I’ve created some new galleries and began arranging some of the photos there, but there’s a lot more to do. Some galleries are designated for photos that pertain only to the locations, and a special gallery was created to contain other more personal photos containing friends or family in the shots. Click on the picture below to go to the galleries, or navigate through the menu.
- Lunar New Year – January 25th in Taoyuan, Taiwan
Today My girlfriend and I had lunch at a friend’s home in Banqiao, and then traveled to her family’s home in Taoyuan. It’s really impressive how much traveling can be done in Taiwan via public transportation. Taoyuan is a rural city, but it also contains an airport, so there is a metro line that directly connects to Taipei, and there is a current infrastructure project underway that is expanding the line even further. The last five minutes of our journey was expedited by the convenient placement of the U-Bike locations, one at the MRT station, and another just a stones throw away from their home. It was later in the evening when we arrived, but I managed to get some shots before the sun went down.
